Project Information
In 2022, I decided to launch tuma, my very own brand of home furniture and accessories. Yep, I was the creative director, the visionary, and pretty much the entire team behind the brand (a one-person orchestra, if you will). The big idea? Bring together furniture design, textiles, ceramics, and whatever else seemed cool to create a product that was fresh, bold, and just a bit different.
Working on tuma meant teaming up with all kinds of talented folks—furniture designers, textile pros, illustrators, artists, photographers, you name it. It was a crash course in the entire product lifecycle, from those first big ideas to seeing the final product in real life. And let me tell you, managing the creative side of things felt like being a kid in a candy store.
I also took the reins on the brand’s visual identity—yes, that style that gave tuma its unique vibe? That was me! From picking the perfect font to nailing down every design detail, I wanted to create something that truly stood out. But then…2022 happened. With my world like russian boy turning upside down, I had to close the project and escape my country. Still, tuma was a fantastic journey and taught me more than I ever expected about juggling creativity and entrepreneurship. And hey, now I’ve got plenty of new skills (and stories) for future projects.
